Pioneers Outpost
Pioneers Outpost is the name used by The Pioneers for their base of operations across two eras. The original outpost was established in Lichdenstein and destroyed by cave-ins. A later generation of the faction rebuilt under the same name in Frangfurd.
History
Lichdenstein Outpost (~c. 2300)
The original Pioneers Outpost was founded in Lichdenstein by the founding generation of The Pioneers — survivors from various origins who banded together after the collapse. The outpost served as the faction’s central base during the Lichdenstein era.
The outpost was destroyed by cave-ins. PLACEHOLDER — circumstances, whether casualties occurred, and how many pioneers survived to continue the faction
Frangfurd Outpost (~c. 2500 onward)
Period: Frangfurd (~c. 2500 onward)
A later generation of The Pioneers, descended from the Lichdenstein survivors, rebuilt the outpost in Frangfurd under the same name in 2540. This outpost became the faction’s operating base in the Frangfurd era.
It was here that the pioneers built The Copper Maiden in 2563 and launched it on the 2565 expedition that first crossed Mono Monte to the Wet Lands.
South of the outpost the pioneers industrialised the town of Belucho, where they built the Church of the Glowing Cross. The ground between the outpost and the town became the Open Air Museum of Belucho.
The Frangfurd outpost stands at the north of the Pioneers Peninsula, on the western side of northern Jedersland.
Notes
Pichon was the first nearby settlement to accept the Frangfurd-era pioneers’ technology, adopting hot-air-balloon travel.
