Wet Lands

The Wet Lands are the southern region of Jedersland, lying beyond the Mono Monte ridge and west of the Mountain Meadow Region. They contain the Ravana Ruins, the village of Great Question, and the Kupfer Arenal complex built on the old Camp 0 site. The region was first reached from the north in 2565.

History

Cut off from the north by Mono Monte, the Wet Lands were unexplored for most of the Frangfurd era. The Pioneers made the first crossing by air aboard The Copper Maiden in 2565, founding Camp 0 at the Ravana Ruins to study the Curse of Ravana.

The region was not empty when the pioneers arrived: the village of Great Question, beside the Ravana Ruins, had lived there long enough to be the first to contact the Curse of Ravana. With the south opened, Kupfer Guild Inc. moved into the region to mine it, funding Camp 0 from 2568 and building The Citadel. After the research concluded, the guild redeveloped the Camp 0 site into the Kupfer Arenal tourist complex, commercialising the Wet Lands.

  1. 2565The Copper Maiden crosses south over Mono Monte to the Wet Lands — the first recorded crossing. Camp 0 founded at the Ravana Ruins to study the Curse of Ravana. The Pioneers build the Pioneers Airstrip (later Citadel Airport) and use Great Question as a hub, rescuing surviving villagers. As the research moves south, the older ground between Pioneers Outpost and Belucho is restored and opens as the Open Air Museum of Belucho.
