Leopold von Lachsenhausen

Leopold von Lachsenhausen was the elder son of King Aldric of Lachsenhausen and the military arm of The Avari. He joined the faction as a military ally in exchange for a stake in the Bellum Castle Trade Route and was unaware that Lucien Alvaro de Castillon had been poisoning his father.

Background

Elder son of King Aldric of Lachsenhausen. Groomed from birth for military leadership while his younger brother Victor von Lachsenhausen was directed toward diplomacy. Frustrated by his father’s conservative foreign policy.

History

Met Lucien Alvaro de Castillon and Severin Falkenrath at the Glaceus Arena tournament in 1243. Joined the partnership as a military ally, providing armed protection for the Bellum Castle Trade Route in exchange for a stake in its profits. Was unaware at the time that Lucien had been poisoning his father, King Aldric of Lachsenhausen.

Participated in the Ravana Ruins ritual in 1282 and received a share of the Curse of Ravana.

After the ritual, Leopold’s conduct became progressively more violent. By the 1320s he treated mortals as expendable. By the 1340s he was initiating military campaigns without strategic justification.

Death

Poisoned by Severin Falkenrath at Mount Kings in 1361, alongside his brother Victor von Lachsenhausen, during a strategy meeting. Severin held them as they died to ensure the shares transferred directly to him.
