Victor von Lachsenhausen

Born: 1218, Lachsenhausen Died: 1361, Mount Kings Origin: Lachsenhausen Affiliation: Co-founder of The Avari. Diplomat and economist.

Victor von Lachsenhausen was the younger son of King Aldric of Lachsenhausen and the diplomatic face of The Avari. He negotiated the treaties that gave the Avari's trade empire legal legitimacy.

Background

Younger son of King Aldric of Lachsenhausen. Directed toward diplomacy and commerce from an early age. Showed aptitude for negotiation and identifying economic opportunity. Shared his brother Leopold von Lachsenhausen's frustration with their father's conservative policies.

History

Met Lucien Alvaro de Castillon and Severin Falkenrath at the Glaceus Arena tournament in 1243. While Leopold von Lachsenhausen focused on military alliance, Victor saw economic potential and joined as the partnership's diplomatic face. He negotiated the treaties with neighbouring kingdoms that gave the Avari's trade empire legal legitimacy throughout its growth.

Participated in the Ravana Ruins ritual in 1282 and received a share of the Curse of Ravana.

After the ritual, Victor's detachment increased steadily. By the 1320s he was manipulating nations with little regard for human consequences. By the 1340s he had effectively disengaged from governing, treating mortal affairs as beneath concern.

Death

Poisoned by Severin Falkenrath at Mount Kings in 1361, alongside his brother Leopold von Lachsenhausen, during a strategy meeting.
