Mono Monte

Mono Monte is a large mountain ridge running across Jedersland, dividing the region's north from its south. It long stood as the barrier that kept the southern Wet Lands unexplored.

Type: Mountain ridge Era: Frangfurd (~c. 2500 onward) Location: Jedersland, Frangfurd

History

The ridge separates the developed north of Jedersland — including the Warzow Peninsula and the Arctic Semicircle — from the southern Wet Lands. Its height and extent made a ground crossing impractical, and the south remained undocumented for most of the Frangfurd era.

The first recorded crossing was made by air in 2565, when The Pioneers flew The Copper Maiden over the ridge to reach the Wet Lands. A later attempt to force a heavy ground route across the ice to its east ended in the Project Gigantico Crash.
