Farlando
Farlando is Luxemburg's primary tourist destination, located in the southwest of the country on land that previously fell under Lachsenhausen rule. Its economy is built around leisure, hospitality, and pharmaceutical production through Farlando Herbs.
Type: Tourist town Era: Luxemburg (modern) Location: Southwest Luxemburg, formerly Lachsenhausen
History¶
Previously part of Lachsenhausen before the Avari absorption (1258–1264).
In the modern Luxemburg era, Farlando is known for tourism and hospitality. Farlando Herbs, a pharmaceutical company based here, produces medical cannabinoids and wellness products distributed across Luxemburg.
Notes¶
Farlando's tourist economy contrasts with the industrial character of most other Luxemburg towns. Whether this is due to natural geography, historical distance from Avari sites, or deliberate development is undocumented.
