The Copper Maiden

The Copper Maiden was an airship built entirely of copper and lifted by hot-air balloons, constructed by The Pioneers at Pioneers Outpost. In 2565 it made the first recorded crossing of the Mono Monte ridge, carrying the expedition that founded Camp 0 in the Wet Lands.

History

The Copper Maiden was completed in 2563, developed from the hot-air-balloon travel that The Pioneers had introduced to nearby settlements such as Pichon. Its all-copper construction distinguished it from earlier balloon craft.

In 2565 it flew south over Mono Monte — the first crossing of the ridge on record — and reached the Wet Lands. The expedition it carried founded Camp 0 at the Ravana Ruins to research the Curse of Ravana.
